No Habitat Home could ever be built without the involvement of volunteers. There are many ways in which you can donate time to Habitat. In between builds the affiliate is very busy with fund-raising and finding building lots for future homes. These - and other committees - always need additional members.
The Board of Directors also needs specific talents to be able to manage the Association. If you feel you can contribute in that way, or know someone who can, please contact us. The Association elects its Directors at the AGM; however the Board does have the authority to appoint Directors in between elections.
When the building starts, hands-on volunteers are needed to dig, saw, hammer, paint as well as to provide services such as safety, security, public relations, refreshments, organizing teams and supervision.
If you are interested in getting involved in this great endeavor, don't hesitate. We need you!
You may call 314-6783 and leave your name and address with a request to mail you a Volunteer form, or you can open the PDF Volunteer form, print it, fill it out and mail it to Habitat. The Volunteer Committee will contact you and forward your name to the appropriate committee chair.
