CORPORATE SPONSOR
Corporate Sponsorships include companies that are funding a complete build and have this build named after their corporation. Companies can provide professional services, may donate installations or provide gifts-in-kind. Service clubs may give grants or help at a build. Many companies have in-house activities to raise funds for Habitat... the possibilities are endless.
If you are interested in becoming involved with our building program, please contact us. The Fund Development Committee will meet with you to discuss ways in which to develop a partnership between you and Habitat for Humanity.
GIFTS-IN-KIND
Gifts-In Kind are a great way to support your local Habitat build. Everything that can be used to build a home must either be purchased with donated funds, or be received as a gift. Professional labour that cannot be provided by volunteers is also considered a gift-in-kind. The Building, Fund Development and Promotion Committees will arrange delivery, establish a value, and discuss promotional benefits and recognition levels for your company.

TAX DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS
Please consider Habitat for Humanity Kamloops as a recipient of your financial giving. Building a Habitat home requires approximately $120,000.00 in funds and/or gifts. Obviously your donations are much needed.
Habitat for Humanity Canadian Affiliates tithe 10% of all non-designated donations to Habitat for Humanity Canada for the purpose of building homes in Jamaica. We believe that this biblical practice does not only bless the work of Habitat, but also magnifies our mandate. The cost of housing in Jamaica is a fraction of that in Canada - in other words, every time a home is completed in Kamloops, your donation has also given hope to a Jamaican family.

Many groups have made Habitat their charitable choice. Among them are churches, office employees, clubs and schools. You, too, can organize this kind of support in your faith group, among your colleagues, circle of friends or class-mates. This way, small weekly donations add up considerably.Perhaps your company will consider automatic holdback from you and your colleagues' pay cheques, and even double the amount collected.
PLANNED GIVING
Planned giving is a delicate subject; it involves the inclusion of Habitat for Humanity in a person's will. However, it is a wonderful way of leaving a legacy and providing hope in a future beyond our own years; therefore Habitat has included this option in our fund development program.A special director has been appointed to discuss these matters with you. Privacy is absolute, and the subject will be treated with due respect, at all times. When you contact Habitat and mention Planned Giving, your message will be forwarded to this appointed director.
